Over the past year, the United States and Israel have perpetuated a devastating genocide against the Palestinian people, with the Democrats continuing this instead of listening to the people. Now, Trump has just announced a ban on gender-affirming care for youth on Day 1, amongst a rollout of incoming attacks on BIPOC communities, women, trans & queer people, immigrants, refugees, the elderly, disabled folks, and the working class. We have been grieving, and organizing while grieving, as our siblings in Congo, Sudan, Palestine, have faced ongoing genocide and our peoples have faced the criminalization of reproductive justice, expansion of surveillance, and fortification of prison and immigration detention systems. We must meet this moment as feminists and commit to building the new world our peoples need, together.
