On July 1st, nearly half a million New Yorkers lost their Essential Plan health insurance. This was caused by the federal cuts to healthcare through HR-1, when Trump and his cronies cut over a trillion dollars from basic services in order to give New York’s wealthiest residents a $12 billion tax cut every year. We call on our state leaders, particularly Governor Hochul, to pass the Invest in Our New York package to make sure no New Yorker loses their healthcare and our state stands up to Trump and his cronies in Washington not just with words, but with action.
