Strike Where They Live! PG Picket Heads to Block's House
Start: Tuesday, August 12, 2025•07:15 PM
End: Tuesday, August 12, 2025•08:45 PM

Striking workers of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette will take the strike — the longest in the country — to the doorstep of one of the people responsible for their suffering, publisher and co-owner John Block.
With the CWA convention in town we have an extra great opportunity to hit the bosses where they live. On Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 7:15 p.m. we will gather at the corner of Devonshire and Ellsworth in Pittsburgh, 15213 before walking up the block to the local Block estate.
If you need a ride, or can give one, please say so on the RSVP form here.
If you need a ride we will plan to pick you up outside the convention center at 1000 Fort Duquesne Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 at 6:45 p.m. CWA delegates and convention goers, we especially want to see YOUR RSVPs so we can arrange transportation if necessary.
Some local stalwarts and strikers may be helping you get there.
Regardless of your union membership, can you RSVP today to let us know if you can go, how you can help, and how many you think you can bring with you?
