On August 12th, organizers and attendees of the lethal “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, VA, will be marching and demonstrating again in Washington D.C. As in the previous demonstration, they will stand for a white ethno-state, necessitating genocide and ethnic cleansing. Red Rose Socialists values human equality, workers solidarity, and socialism. We oppose and denounce this demonstration, and call for a solidarity counter-demo in Lancaster city.

Red Rose Socialists believe that the US working class has the power to confront and squelch fascism like a bug. Mass demonstrations are the key. With numbers, the workers can turn out in force to lay clear, for the world to see, that fascism will not be tolerated. That the world is their own and not that of a ruling minority or caste. That all who work and live in our community regardless of origin will be welcomed and will make us stronger as a community and as the human race.

Join us and other members of the Lancaster community in saying loud and clear, “NO!” to fascism and white supremacy, and make it plain that workers solidarity is stronger than hate.

We will gather and start at Penn Square (King & Queen St) and feature speakers from the community throughout the rally and march.
