A Treasurer’s Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, November 18th from 5-7pm. This workshop will be a virtual training, to be hosted by William DelPino from AFSCME International.

The AFSCME Financial Standards Code consists of the rules and regulations that apply to all AFSCME Affiliates regarding financial record-keeping and reporting. In this training, you will learn how to maintain financial records, how to authorize expenditures, and the proper way to document your union receipts and expenditures. You will also learn about the financial reports required for presentation to the your executive board and membership, and the required annual filings for the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor. This workshop is not just for Treasurer’s- all elected officials, executive board members, and trustees are encouraged to attend. Pre-registration is required.
