First Mass Mobilization Organizing Tour of North Carolina Congressional Districts
URGENT CALL TO ACTION
- 44% of North Carolinians are poor, low-wealth and low-wage, a total of 4.6 million people.
- 47% of NC workers, 2 million people, make less than $15/hour.
- 1 million people in North Carolina have no health insurance.
- Almost 40% of eligible North Carolina voters are poor, low-wealth and low-wage, and over 80% of them are already registered. But hundreds of thousands of these voters did not turn out in 2020.
Join us in your congressional district for an organizing meeting where we will uplift the issues of poor & low wealth people, register voters, and train our communities to mobilize the voting power of poor and low wealth people.
All are welcome, regardless of party, to hear from poor, low-wealth and low-wage communities and to understand the power they have.
