We, trans rights and bodily autonomy leaders from across DSA chapters in Florida, will be reflecting on our mobilizations on and around March 31 for Transgender Day of Visibility and the deadline for a ruling by the State Supreme Court of Florida as to whether Amendment 4 will be allowed to proceed on the ballot.

Organizers and chapters have been working hard for months to put together our campaigns an in 2024 we are seeing that hard work pay off. Our chapters are fighting for trans rights and abortion, with organizers talking to voters about Amendment 4, running successful efforts to expand rights for queer and transgender people like at Florida International University, and running campaigns to elect socialists in office.
