Flotilla Down & Rise Up to #Stop ETP!
Start: Saturday, September 09, 2017• 8:00 AM
On September 8th & 9th, we're taking action across the country to #StopETP and defend indigenous rights and our water, land, air, and climate.
By taking coordinated action targeting ETP, we will launch a broader, sustained effort to disrupt ETP’s business-as-usual until the company withdraws their unnecessary and damaging pipeline projects, stops violating human rights, and stops polluting the air, water, and climate.
YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN US! COME EXPERIENCE L'EAU EST LA VIE CAMP! WE WILL FLOAT WITH OUR RAFTS, TRADITIONAL STRUCTURES AND KAYAKS WITH OUR USUAL LOUISIANA FLARE AND JOIE DE VIVRE!
On September 9, as a part of the NATIONAL #STOPETP DAY OF ACTION, L'eau Est La Vie Camp will host a FLOTILLA DOWN BAYOU LAFOURCHE, while also canvassing local communities regarding the struggle to stop Energy Transfer Partner's proposed Bayou Bridge Pipeline.
During our time together we will also work to raise awareness and educate the public to the potential harms that the #BayouBridge Pipeline brings to the drinking waters of Indigenous and Cajun communities along Bayou Lafourche.
Optional over-night camp and opportunities will be available - stay tuned to this page to learn more.
Please contact your action host for any specific questions about your action, and please bring your friends out to the Day of Action to #StopETP!
