At the gathering, we will share updates on our work on building a just and equitable Fossil Free world, including the status of Portland’s resolutions calling for 100% renewable energy for all and an immediate halt of all new fossil fuel projects, and together discuss what’s next.

Portland has a powerful history of climate action. Our work addressing the health, safety, and climate risks of our local fossil fuel infrastructure continues and we need you!

Together, we can create a resounding upswell of public support for the ambitious climate solutions we need.

This is part of a National week of action organized by 350.org calling for local community resolutions for 100% renewable energy (passed in Portland June, 2017) for all and an immediate halt of all new fossil fuel projects (passed in Portland November, 2015). Our work continues in Portland as we implement the bold vision laid out in these resolutions and work to make our existing dirty fossil fuel terminals safer.
