Combined, these three presentations create a solid foundation for understanding the contemporary world and a possible alternative.

On Wednesday, March 12th at 8pm ET/5pm PT DSA's National Political Committee Co-Chair Megan Romer will talk about socialism. What differentiates a socialist society from a capitalist one? How do we determine which governments, policies, and movements deserve to be called socialist in a capitalist world? Day will present on the key features and major pillars of socialist thought that distinguish it from other political traditions, including fascism, liberal capitalism, and social democracy.
