In anticipation of the second anniversary of her arrest, join our online panel discussion to Free Meng Wanzhou, unjustly incarcerated by the Trudeau government at the request of the Trump Administration. You'll learn more from Canadian experts about her legal case, deteriorating relations with China, and the rise of Sinophobia in Canada - plus what you can do about it.Speakers include:
- John Philpot, lawyer and expert in international criminal law
- Atif Kubursi, Professor Emeritus of Economics, McMaster University
- Niki Ashton, NDP MP for Churchill–Keewatinook Aski
- Paul Manly, Green Party MP for Nanaimo–Ladysmith
- Cathy Walker, retired trade union representative who participated in 15 trade union exchanges with China over 40 years
- KJ Noh, veteran journalist, political analyst, educator, and peace activist specializing in the geopolitics of the Asia-Pacific
