Join DSA Emerge, Springs of Revolution, and Marxist Unity Group on Saturday, July 25th for a political prisoner letter writing event. In this event, we will learn about Mumia Abu-Jamal and the Prarieland Defendants, and the ways political repression has been wielded for centuries. Together, we commit to furthering the work and wellbeing of our incarcerated comrades as we fight for our collective liberation and a future free of prisons. This will be a space where we can learn and write to political prisoners collectively.

The event is hybrid, with in person meetups across the country. If you attend virtually, make sure to bring a black or blue pen and plain white printer paper.
