Freedom 250th Birthday Party. We are not free until all people are free.It is a pop-up Protest without a permit so it will not be at the court house.

There will be safety marshals. Speakers and music are welcome, but there will not be a sound system. There will be a sign making event on Wednesday at the Walla Walla Democrat’s Office from 2:30 - 4:15 p.m.

If you want to march, we will have a march route from Second and Rose Street to the Walla Walla Court House (315 W. Alder, Walla Walla) to Heritgage Square and it is will return to Second and Rose Street.

The MAGA regime is in the midst of trying to whitewash our past so they can control our future. Trump wants to keep the promise of America only for wealthy, white men like him by disappearing Black and brown Americans, rolling back our civil rights and freedom to vote, and taking away birthright citizenship. But we can turn the tide.

It’s time for all who call this place home to take a stand against the MAGA regime’s attacks on our country’s past, present, and future. While we boycott Trump’s anti-American, whitewashed 250th, we will join together to embrace all of America, all of our history, and commit to the work yet to be done to make this country a place where liberty and equality are for all.

This will be the biggest national day of action in the lead up to this historic anniversary for our country and will be a unifying call for all who want America to reckon with and repair our history rather than erase it, celebrate how far we’ve come, make America a place where freedom and equality are for all.
