Fremont Solstice Parade

Start: Saturday, June 21, 202501:00 PM

Celebrate the 34th Annual Fremont Solstice Parade, an iconic Seattle tradition bursting with color, movement, and meaning. Produced by the Fremont Arts Council, this one-of-a-kind, people-powered spectacle takes place on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., and winds through the heart of Fremont with over 60 community-based ensembles.

Giant puppets, stilt walkers, dazzling dancers, whimsical floats, jubilant musicians, and free-spirited cyclists transform the streets into a living work of art. This is more than just a parade—it’s a celebration of freedom of expression, collective joy, and community power.

No words. No logos. No motorized vehicles.
The Fremont Solstice Parade is proudly non-commercial, meaning no printed words, logos, or advertisements are allowed. All movement is people-powered—with the exception of electric wheelchairs—highlighting human connection and creativity. Service animals are welcome, but other animals are not permitted to ensure a safe, inclusive environment for everyone.

Parade Route
The parade kicks off at 3rd Ave NW & Leary Way, proceeds down NW 36th Street, turns right on Evanston Ave N, and ends with a final right on N 35th Street—concluding near the legendary Seattle Art Cars exhibit at the Fremont Fair.
