On the morning of July 28th, while parents were dropping their children off at summer camp at Bohrer Park Activity Center, multiple ICE agents and vehicles were transferring two community members in the parking lot. One of them being a Gaithersburg mother of three. Families at the summer camp have yet to receive any communication about the incident. Residents and community members have emailed and have been met with the same response and many in the immigrant community remain afraid to leave their homes.

Join us for a rally on Friday, August 7 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at the Gaithersburg Concert Pavillion as we call on the City of Gaithersburg to:
-Speak up for immigrant families
-Improve communication during immigrant enforcement incidents
-Establish clear protocols to protect our community
-Adopt county wide immigration laws on the city level like the County Values Act.
-Rebuild trust through meaningful action and not blanket statements.
