We are #BreakingGround in Rockhampton. Join us for a powerful night of storytelling, traditional song & dance at the Walter Reid Community Arts Centre.
Come celebrate the resilience of First Nations & Pasifika people on Darumbal country. Through culture and the arts we will share the lived realities of climate change along with stories from the frontlines of climate action.
What to expect?
- Pasifika people traveling from the Pacific region & as well as the Pacific diaspora.
- Frontline Truths from Kiribati, Fiji & Samoa diaspora.
- Frontline Truths from Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network
- Traditional dance from local community
- Spoken word performance
- Pasifika pop-up art exhibition

Light catering will be provided from 6pm - 7pm.
This event is part of the #BreakingGround tour which will travel through key electorates in Queensland, where Pacific Climate Warriors will share their #FrontlineTruths about the impacts of climate change through storytelling, song and traditional dance.
Our hope is to share our stories and to inspire people to rise up with us as we face these challenges together.
