I'm Tomás Garduño, I am the author of the Fundamentals of Electoral Organizing and your guide for the evening on March 19th. I'm glad to be on this journey with you to take power back- from school board, to city council, to congress. Right now, 70% of elections are uncontested, that means working people are currently not in charge of the resources allocations, or decisions being made about us. We intend to change that.

Not only can we contest every race, but we can take over the  hundreds of roles within electoral organizing. We intend to train you so you can master these tools and roles. This workshop is for anyone who believes elections are one of the tools we use to build lasting power.

In this organizing workshop we will review three essentials

1. Raising money.

2. Telling your story.

3. Reaching your voters.
