This budget season was tough. Together, we were able to restore some funding to the Healthy Homes Act, but at the end of the day it will not go as far as DC families need. But our fight is far from over. Join BeyondGas for a public meeting with Councilmember Charles Allen, Chair of the Transportation & Environment Committee, where we’ll evaluate this past budget season together and name what worked, what didn’t, and what we’re still owed. Together, we will chart a path forward for securing stronger and more sustainable investments in Healthy Homes. This is an opportunity to hear about where our campaign stands, to envision new funding streams that cannot be raided by the Mayor each year and and build the strategy needed to win greater funding in years to come.
