GA Resists: Take Down White Supremacy March
Start: Saturday, August 19, 2017•06:00 PM
Saturday night a diverse coalition of social justice and civil rights organizations will join together to march in peaceful solidarity. Our mission: to send a message to Georgia, and to America that hate has no home here. We will march from Centennial Olympic Park to the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.
We will join in unity to stand against hate groups and symbols of hate and oppression in our community. We are committed to demonstrating in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and using the Kingian Priciples of Nonviolence.
We will not mask our faces as we stand for all to see the real faces of those who stand up to white supremacy.
