Learn More!
Just Income GNV: A guaranteed income project in Alachua County, Florida, providing temporary, unconditional monthly payments directly to people who have been impacted by the justice system - no strings attached. This pilot is designed and administered by formerly incarcerated people. We believe a guaranteed income can mitigate known barriers to successful reentry and unlock the inherent potential of our justice-impacted neighbors.
Income Movement: Is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to making basic income legislation on the state and national level a reality. Basic income is a direct cash transfer program that provides a regular stipend to meet the basic needs of the recipients. The recipients can spend the cash on whatever they choose, no strings attached. Basic income can be an umbrella term that applies to a variety of monthly cash transfer programs. Basic income is rooted in the belief that human beings deserve to have their basic needs met, and that giving people unrestricted, direct cash every month is the best way to ensure we have a system that accomplishes this.
