At this time of rising authoritarianism and the rolling back of hard fought progressive gains, multiple forces within our communities are organizing against their self-interests. Losing these fights will have devastating consequences for all of us and the future of our democracy. Now is the time to invest in grassroots organizing to protect our communities and to advance an agenda that is grounded in cross-class solidarity.

Since the 2010s, GAR has been building multi-racial solidarity, establishing a space for organizations nationally to improve the everyday conditions of pan-Asian working-class communities. This work has become more urgent as authoritarian influence continues to grow in our communities. Through strengthening grassroots organizing, we can build a movement powerful enough to make justice irresistible.
