For all Twin Cities people who've been active with SURJ in the last year or so -- let's get together to connect and take action!  

Calling all our local folks:  If you knocked on doors or called on the phone, if you attended an Action Hour (or several!), if you are in a Gear Up Group, if you're a long-term member, if you've been to a webinar or two, if you've only just heard of SURJ, please come!

We want to start the new year (and the next phase of our struggle to undo white supremacy and block fascism), including local action we can take together in February, in coordination with hundreds of other SURJ local groups as part of the national Gear Up program!

We'll meet up on Sunday January 19th, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 at CTUL, 3715 Chicago Avenue in Minneapolis (55407) . There's a small parking lot shared with a laundromat, as well as on-street parking, and buses that run within a few blocks (on 38th Street). Please bring your precious self, your questions and your fears, your determination and your best energy, and let us know if you need on-site child care. Snacks provided!

Let's honor the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King in a way he would have wanted: by renewing our dedication to the work he moved forward. Together, we can be part of that mighty river of justice he talked about so eloquently!
