Get On The Bus Campaign Meeting — May 13, 2025

Start: Tuesday, May 13, 202506:30 AM

End: Tuesday, May 13, 202508:00 AM

Join the Get On The Bus monthly campaign meeting on Tuesday, May 13 at 6:30pm (NEW TIME!) to get involved in the fight for better public transit in Louisville! At this month's meeting, we strategize how to get the word out about our demand letter ahead of the city budgeting process that begins in May, including in ways to volunteer to help out. We'll also continue our focus on coalition building. Volunteers are needed, so bring a friend. ALL ARE WELCOME!

Sign the individual demand letter at bit.ly/gotb-demand. For organizations in interested in joining the GOTB coalition, visit bit.ly/gotb-coalition-demand. For more detailed instructions on how to take action, use our toolkit: https://bit.ly/gotb-toolkit.

The Get On The Bus (GOTB) Public Transit Campaign is a priority campaign of the Louisville Democratic Socialists that focuses on bringing together TARC riders and drivers, residents, community leaders, and organizations who care about the future of public transit in the Louisville area. Together, we identify ways to pressure local leaders to increase funding for TARC so they can move forward with the most robust option of TARC 2025 (currently known as the “Growth Concept”) which will ensure that working people throughout the region have reliable, affordable public transit.
