WHEN: June 22nd, 23rd, and 24th - Midday Monday to midday Wednesday

WHAT: These days will be a day of connecting and sharing with other students around best practices and challenges, and to work with RFC Directors on topics involving procurement, organizing for change, and more. Skill building; peer connection; Food Justice strategy; fun! Our rough agenda looks like:

- Monday: Arrival, acclimation, intention setting

- Tuesday: RFC history & theory of change; corporate food systems workshop; Climate impact and Plant Based movement strategizing; Know Talent Show!; and more

- Wednesday: Training tracks: Campaigning; Food Hub Advocacy; working group break outs; '26/27 school year planning; goodbyes :)

WHERE: Venture Retreat Center in Pescadero (near the coast south of SF).

- includes pool, patio & hot tub, seasonal fire circle, various outdoor gardens, and meditation spots, outdoor kitchen & BBQ, Starlink Wi-Fi, and on-site parking.

WHO: You and other university students who are interested in Food Justice, passionate about campus food systems change, and local, sustainable food. (As well as Real Food Challenge staff.)

If you're interested we want you to come! To these ends we are offering:

Lodging - Glamping style beds in various locations:

• 16' Belle tents (5-6 people each)
• Lotus Mahal (up to 15 people)
• Sleeping out under the starts (for the adventurous!)
• other potential smaller tent type options

Travel Support - We will help with logistics and coordination for travel, including potential carpools and a travel reimbursement stipend.

Food! - We will provide food while you are with us! We will work with any and all food needs and allergies. And provide caffeine and snacks! Meals will be plant-based as a base, though local, sustainable meat will be offered depending on availability to those who request it.

You will receive a logistics survey sometime in April to gathering more information!
