The Nannas for Native Forests invite you to join this fun community action for all ages to protect the forest and woodland homes of our endangered Black Cockatoos - 'umbrella species' on the edge. This special event will form part of nationwide action for forests over 3 days leading up to rallies organised by the Bob Brown Foundation in every city - more info on the action and rallies here.

On August 11th we'll create a giant Black Cockatoo with our umbrellas together in formation to demonstrate calls to save critical habitat of these iconic WA birds. Wear black if you can and bring a black umbrella (or use ours) to help send a powerful message.

All three species of WA's Black Cockatoos are at risk of extinction within our lifetimes as seen in the award-winning documentary Black Cockatoo Crisis. We must stop the chop of their forest and woodland homes, and it takes people power to achieve this.

It's Bunbury's turn - so please join the Nannas for Native Forests taking action with Save the Black Cockatoos, Friends of Gelorup Corridor, and supporting Bob Brown Foundation's nationwide actions for forests.
