Glasgow Day of Action for COP29: banner-making workshop
Start: Wednesday, November 13, 2024• 6:30 PM
End: Wednesday, November 13, 2024• 8:30 PM

Three years have passed since the UN COP26 climate talks happened in Glasgow and it has never been more important for us to speak up and demand action on climate change.
The climate crisis is escalating and so is the global movement for climate justice. Across the world, we are coming together to fight back against the fossil fuel industry and to call on institutions, including the Strathclyde Pension Fund in Glasgow, to stop funding climate-wrecking fossil fuels.
Please join Divest Strathclyde and friends on Wednesday 13th September from 6.30-8.30pm for a fun banner-making workshop and a chance to learn more about how you can get involved with a family-friendly rally in George Square for the COP29 Global Day of Action for Climate Justice on Saturday 16th November.
We'll create climate-themed art works and learn some uplifting climate songs for Saturday's 'Build a Better Future' rally in Glasgow. All welcome - no previous singing or art experience needed.
