Join the Stop Financing Factory Farming campaign and partners across the globe for our 2026 Global Day of Action on Wednesday, April 15!

Just over a year ago, we held our first Global Day of Action, with events across five continents. This year, we’re coming together again to send a clear message to the World Bank Group: a liveable planet is not one built on factory farming.

This year’s global day of action focuses on solutions. We do not want to simply survive the harms of factory farming. We want to thrive with food systems that support communities, animals, and the planet.

Since the World Bank Group’s global headquarters are in Washington, D.C., we are uniquely positioned to make our voices heard. S3F member Friends of the Earth U.S. is leading this action in coordination with coalition partners.

Sign up to join us, and we’ll follow up with more information!

When: 12pm-1pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2026,

Where: East corner of the triangle of South Murrow Park (map below)

What: We will meet with representatives from the World Bank Group and deliver a booklet highlighting solutions to factory farming and the need for the Bank to support sustainable, community-based food systems instead. We will provide signs and shirts for attendees, and capture the attention of people attending World Bank meetings.

Why: The World Bank cannot fulfill its mission to “end poverty on a livable planet” while continuing to use taxpayer dollars to finance the expansion of industrial animal agriculture.

RSVP now to join us in DC. Can’t make it to DC? 🌍 Find a Global Day of Action event near you!
