We are meeting on Sunday 29 March to bring together GO members from across North / West Yorkshire region for our first AGM.
The schedule for the day is:
- 11:00: Campaigning in Little London and Woodhouse (Assemble outside Leeds Train Station Wetherspoons)
- 12:30: Break for lunch (Old Bar - Leeds University Union)
- 13:30 - 15:30: Greens Organise North / West Yorkshire AGM (Leeds University - Parkinson SR B.11 / attend online via Google Meet)
At the AGM, we will also be electing a Steering Committee. The roles up for election are:
- Two Co-Convenors
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Membership Coordinator
- Political Education Coordinator
- Community Organising Coordinator
- Media Coordinator
- Governance and Policy Coordinator
If you are interested in standing to be elected to any of the above roles - please RSVP and provide your name, contact details, and a short(~150 words) supporting statement. Please submit this information prior to Friday 27th March.
All roles (except each of the two Co-Conveners) can work on a job-share basis. If you would be interested in working as a job-share please also indicate this when RSVPing and we will connect you with anyone else interested in doing the same.
Our movement is only as strong as it is diverse, so we welcome people with any and all experience to step up for coordinator roles, especially people from marginalised backgrounds.
