Good Cause Troy has gathered 1,800 petition signatures, exceeding our goal for Good Cause opt-in supporters! We will soon submit the petitions to the Board of Elections, but to win it we will need to ensure the city council and the Mayor's office will listen to the will of renters and pass the legislation. This will involve meetings, public speaking, call in events, and more. We've canvassed and door-knocked all over the city for the past 6 months and believe even more strongly that these due process rights are a critical universal need in this city, and that it is common sense to pass it.

Join us at our phase II launch event on 1/29/25 from 6:30-8:30 PM at 386 1st Street in Troy to get activated for the next step of the campaign! You can expect:

• Free food (pizza, salad, etc) and a winterization supply giveaway (latter is limited)
• Update on the campaign progress and next steps for the campaign
• Guest speaker from the Albany tenant organizer movement
• Brief tenant organizer skill building break out groups
