Who: 50501MI and a variety of impactful, local mutual aid/activist groups seeking to amplify voices of various racial and ethnic communities who face systemic inequalities

Join us as we build community together through food and conversation, celebrating civil right leader Congressman John Lewis' legacy of 'good trouble.'

We will be having a community picnic, as we learn how we can support our neighbors through mutual and a variety of important practical skills taught by workshops. There will also be games and activities for family-friendly fun!

John Lewis coined the term 'good trouble' to refer to people coming together to take peaceful, non-violent action to challenge injustice and promote positive societal change. July 17th, 2025 will mark the 5th anniversary since his passing.
