Ithaca has a crisis of uninhabitable conditions in our apartments, caused by a lackluster codes enforcement system. The Ithaca Tenants' Union is seeking testimony from renters throughout the city regarding the conditions of their apartments, the difficulty of getting repairs and how this has impacted their lives. The testimony gathered at this event will be used to demand systemic reform of our city government and adequate enforcement of the law.
