For seven and a half years, folks in Berkeley/Oakland/Richmond areas have been represented in the California Senate by Nancy Skinner, a strong champion for good housing laws. She's reaching the end of her two-term limit, and we want to make sure the next Senator continues to support pro-housing policies!

East Bay YIMBY, East Bay for Everyone, Greenbelt Alliance, and Housing Action Coalition are hosting a series of events to meet the candidates for California Senate District 7, continuing with a happy hour on Thursday, August 31st to get more time to mingle with candidates and meet some of the candidates who couldn't make it to the event on July 27th. We'll cap everything off with a public forum for the candidates in September -- stay tuned for more info!
