Hartford Street Medic Training
Start: Saturday, September 06, 2025•10:00 AM
Are you passionate about showing solidarity in your community? Looking to learn skills to support
your comrades in the struggle against facism? Then join CTDSA Hartford Branch and our program partners for the Hartford Community Street Medic Training!
This training will help equip you with essential skills and knowledge, empowering you to provide
immediate medical assistance in emergency situations.
This intensive training program presents a wide range of critical skills. Street Medic skills are a vital
resource you can provide in your community and organizing spaces, as such, CTDSA is committed to offering this training FREE of cost to all attendees.
Please note that while this training is of no cost to trainees, it is time intensive! We appreciate the
commitment to taking it on and ask that those who sign up are able to commit to two full days of
training (September 6th and 7th, 10am-5pm), as well as a few hours of self paced pre-work in the week before the in-person training. This pre-work will give a lot of necessary context for the training and allows us to all come in with some common terminology, background health information, and understanding of the medic role. We encourage you to work at your own capacity and also to see the pre-work as a very core part of the training.
Please request your space in the class as soon as possible as we need to prepare attendee supplies and registration is limited to 25 participants! We are excited to learn together how to keep us all safe!
