Healing the Block: An Alternative approach to crisis response will be a powerful discussion panel that will be uplifting how we respond to mental health crises, promote healing justice, and implement crisis intervention skills grounded in community care and mutual aid. In alignment with Martin Luther King Jr's legacy of Collective Liberation, this conversation centers everyday strategies any community member can use to support someone in distress, de-escalate harm, and strengthen wellness in our community.
