Hearing on the Governor's Climate Bill

The Governor's Climate Bill - SB6203 -  is having a hearing in the Senate Energy, Environment and Technology Committee. This is an opportunity for Climate Justice Stewards from around the state to express our support for jobs, clean energy and equity!

AGENDA:

8:30 AM - 9:30 AM: Breakfast briefing from Alliance and Environmental Priorities Coalition Staff @ Washington State Labor Council OLYMPIA - 906 Columbia St SW # 330, Olympia, WA 98501. Coffee and bagels/fruit will be provided.

9:30 AM - 10:00 AM: Walk to the hearing (about half a mile) - Shuttles provided for folks who need assistance. Senate Hearing Rm 4 J.A. Cherberg Building 304 15th Ave SW, Olympia, WA 98501

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Hearing + Lobby Visits - We will likely fill the chamber and have to use the overflow rooms. Panels of experts will go first, leaving time for public comment in the second hour. It's likely not everyone will get to speak so we'll also have paper and envelopes for folks to write comments. These can be dropped off at the hearing, or you can take them to your legislators office and speak with their staff.
