Get a sneak peak of the trails being built at Foothills Conservancy's Oak Hill Community Park and Forest as part of the Discover Burke Trails celebration!

What to expect: We will meet at the parking area, there will be a sign-in sheet, a stretch circle, and we will start hiking at approximately 3:20pm. Foothills Conservancy staff will lead the hike and share information about the project as we go. The hike is easy to moderate, natural surface trail, +/- 3 miles in and out. All attendees are welcome to meetup afterwards at Fonta Flora Brewery in downtown Morganton.

What to bring (if you have it!):

• Hiking shoes
• Daypack for water/snacks
• Hiking poles
• Phone/camera for pictures
• A sense of adventure!
