The 2024 election cycle is just around the corner ... in fact for some of us it's already here.

Are you an aspiring progressive data & tech professional looking to launch or advance your career? Or an employer looking to staff up? Or you just want to come to a fun holiday party with 100 of your closest progressive data & tech friends?

Across all the groups, we anticipate having 30- 50 alums in attendance whose skills include BigQuery, Looker Studio, CTA's PAD, NGP VAN admin, and more.

Here's the run of show:

3:30-5:00pm - For Alumni Jobs Seekers Only. We'll run a short workshop on networking and job search best practices and give you time to mingle with fellow job seekers. You must have participated in at least one training / fellowship through Arena, Bluebonnet, Change the Game, and/or Generation Data.

5:00-5:30 - Employer Orientation. We'll do a quick overview of the event and who our alums are with employers.

5:30-8:00 - Alumni Job Seekers + Employer Mingling - Mingling with reserved interview spaces for employers who want to have one-on-one time with select candidates.

Important Logistical Info

You can enter via Hill Prince’s H Street entrance. We will be in the Barn (aka Carriage House) which is located in the back of the property. To get to the Barn walk through the main bar area through the Courtyard. Staff will be there at the check in desk

• The Barn is a large enclosed space that is wood stove heated. It might be a little chilly at first so please dress a little warmer than you otherwise might for an indoor event.

  • There will also be an patio heater in the Courtyard and we’ll have access to the centrally heated main bar as well

  • During the workshop, we’ll provide pizza. Once the event starts we’ll provide everyone two drink tickets, more pizza, and wings

• We know Covid numbers have been spiking up:

  • If you’re feeling any mild symptoms we ask you to test before coming

  • If you test positive for Covid or you’re feeling very sick – Covid or otherwise – we ask you to stay home.

  • Though we are not requiring testing, we’ll have tests available for anyone who wants to test when they arrive

  • Similarly, we’re not asking anyone to mask, but we’ll have masks and hand sanitizer available for anyone who needs it
