Our faith traditions teach us that practicing empathy and solidarity with our neighbors brings us closer to the Divine. The moral moment is now, and together we are the moral voice.

Across the country, ICE agents continue to target immigrants in and around Home Depot stores — workers, customers, and surrounding communities. These raids are chaotic, violent, and sometimes deadly.

These atrocities are happening on Home Depot’s watch — on its properties, with its silence. The company has not taken public steps to resist or condemn these raids, nor has it demanded that the government stop carrying out enforcement operations at its stores.

Through its silence and inaction, Home Depot has become ICE’s passive partner. Every raid on its properties deepens fear in our communities. Our nationwide actions showed that people are paying attention — and now we must keep up the pressure.
