Featured speaker: Dan Ruben:
Our featured speaker is long-time Newton resident Dan Ruben, a leading voice in sustainable practices. Dan teaches Sustainable Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism at several universities, including Boston University and the University of Southern Maine. He is the author of the textbook Sustainable Hospitality and has been a Board member of Green Newton since 1996. Currently the Chair of Green Newton's Building Standards Committee, Dan has been instrumental in persuading developers to build Passive House, all-electric, low embodied carbon developments.
