This session more than ever, the Texas legislature is considering a host of bills that would affect housing across the state. The bills range from good (increased funding for Affordable Housing and allowing ADUs by-right) to bad (decreased tenants rights), and it can be hard to understand everything that is being considered.

To discuss the different bills, we are hosting two experts: Felicity Maxwell, the Executive Director of Texans for Housing, and Ben Martin, the Research Director for Texas Housers. Texans for Housing focuses on removing barriers to building housing while Texas Housers focuses on tenants rights and expanding access to affordable housing.
