Welcome to the People's Hearings!

Hosted by Texas State Rep. Christina Morales in Houston, the Texas Legislative Progressive Caucus is bringing the State Legislature directly to the working families of Texas this summer. Your elected officials in the Texas House and Senate will hold public hearings across the state, hear the stories of struggling Texans, and expose the barriers that keep our families from thriving. Immigrants power Houston’s ports, kitchens, construction sites, and small businesses. When masked officers in unmarked vehicles terrorize our workforce, it hurts small businesses and the local economy. This hearing gives Houstonians a direct line to their elected officials to be heard on their economic pains and communal grieving.

Our “People’s Hearings" will deliver working Texans a real voice in their state legislature.
