Join us this Friday evening January 30 at 6pm for this free event and discussion with author Dr. Brian Kwoba on "Hubert Harrison: Forbidden Genius of Black Radicalism."

This work examines the significance of Hubert Henry Harrison, the journalist, activist, and educator as well as his innovation of radical solutions to radical injustices. The book highlights the conditions of that time, which sparked a global political awakening, and Harrison’s voice as a leading figure in cutting-edge struggles for socialism, internationalism, free love, freethinking, and free speech.

Copies of Hubert Harrison will be available for purchase at the event or can be purchased in advance at Source of Knowledge in Newark, NJ.

Parking is available in the rear of the building or on the street. Light refreshments will be provided. This event is free but any in-kind donation is always welcomed to fund future conversations and events like these.
