Join the Montgomery County DSA Palestine Working Group for a teach-in to understand the connections between ICE, Israel, and imperialism in MoCo. The violence in Palestine is inextricable from the violence wielded to repress activists, journalists, and neighbors in our local community. This teach-in aims to discuss the use of surveillance technologies, private-public partnerships, and state action to harm our communities at home and abroad. With enough public pressure and collective action, it’s possible to reduce the harm caused by the imperial boomerang and begin imagining, and building, a world that isn’t defined by violence and death.
