Green New Deal Devon are organising a workshop for about 10 people in Crediton, with the aim of giving people various tools and exercises to help them imagine the future. It can be hard to imagine what a positive future looks like in this changing world – there are so many unknowns, there are many threats to ourselves, our communities and to the world, that it can be hard to see beyond that. We’re also constrained by the choices put in front of us by politicians and leaders in our society. And most importantly, we all have other, more pressing things to think about – who amongst us really has the time or space to think carefully about what a positive future might actually look like?

This workshop will give attendees dedicated time thinking about their futures, using different group exercises.

The workshop will also include a presentation about the Green New Deal and its basic principles, giving a very broad and loose framework for participants to build on.

The ideas generated will be recorded, shared and feed into the Devon Green New Deal.

A hearty meal will be provided to give everyone a chance to get to know each other, and fuel ideas for the workshop!
