This discussion will cover recent developments affecting immigrants in the US  -- including DACA at the federal level, the draconian law SB-4 in Texas, and a review of last spring's relevant legislative activity in Florida. We will be joined via videoconference by Bob Libal, Executive Director of Grassroots Leadership, a national organization based in Austin, Texas that is fighting deportation, mass incarceration, and prison profiteering.
