We're excited to invite you to the launch of Fossil Free California Votes! Fossil Free California's new sister organization will help us support legislation and elected leaders that will move us toward California's independence from Big Oil and fossil-fueled fascism.

This is a family-friendly fundraising event featuring kids' activities, fancy beverages with local/seasonal ingredients, small bites, and desserts. Although it's hard for many of us to feel patriotic these days, let's use this Independence Day to imagine a greener, healthier, and more democratic California together!

Unlike FFCA, FFCV’s 501(c)(4) status allows our community to engage in fossil-free electoral organizing.

With your support, FFCV is hitting the ground running! This year, we're working on legislation to make multinational corporations pay their share of California taxes and to keep cars off the road by protecting state workers' telework rights. And we're calling on elected leaders and candidates to swear off campaign money from Big Oil.

This is a free event, but there is a suggested $10-15 donation to cover the cost of food and drinks, and of course the opportunity to become a founding sustainer for FFCV!

ACCESS INFO: the site has water and bathrooms. There is a short downhill walk to get from the parking area to the site, on paths that are well maintained but not paved.
