IndiMarin Virtual Phonebanks are designed to be a way for our Phone Team to make calls together and then have a debrief session to share our experiences. It's a great way to get to know other volunteers and build camaraderie. They do not include training.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are new to phone banking,  please visit the "Phone Voters" page of our website which outlines our onboarding process. Please take the steps there before attending a Virtual Phonebank.

On the day of the event, the link to the Zoom call and all the resources will be posted on the Upcoming Phonebank Information page.

Currently, we are calling registered Democrats in North Carolina to confirm their support for Joe Biden, Roy Cooper (Gov) and Cal Cunningham (Senate) and solicit volunteers from the strong supporters. We are using an automatic dialer called Thrutalk which connects us only when someone answers the phone so it is more efficient, and more fun for volunteers, than dialing manually.

Phone calls are the most impactful form of voter outreach. Why? Because as volunteers, we add value in two ways: 1) We provide voters with important information, like how to sign up to vote by mail, and 2) We collect data about voters that is needed by the campaign to strategize most effectively.
