Join CAF Seattle at Insight Meditation's Family Walk in the Woods!

Seattle Insight Meditation's Climate Action Group is inviting families to a mindful walk in the woods with activities for preschool and elementary aged kids. We’ll meet at the Carkeek Park Beach parking area (next to the bridge to the beach with the piano key crosswalk) along with other Seattle Insight Meditation Society (SIMS) members.

We will BEGIN the walk promptly at 9:30 am. SIMS recommends that you arrive by 9:15 to find parking and use the bathroom if needed. We will follow the Piper’s Creek Trail to the Wetland Trail and spend some time there with a few activities encouraging kids to use their senses of hearing, seeing, smelling and touching to be present with nature.
