As we reassess strategy and tactics for the COLA movement in times of COVID, the Wildcat Organizer School dept of Strike University wants to create an intercampus space for strategizing - apart from the urgencies of campus politics, decision-making, general assemblies, and campaigns. We invite COLA participants and particularly leaders from all campuses to join us in a series of roundtables.

This week: Open space to discuss BLM, cops off campus, and the failure to get UAW leadership to pass a strike authorization vote for a ULP strike

Starting Friday, June 26th we will kick off a concerted series of 10 or so roundtables called "In it to win it". The plan is for a rigorous, sustained learning and discussion process to assess our campus movements, agree to a common theory of change for winning a COLA, power-map our targets (UC admin) and our frenemies (UAW), study and learn from past struggles at the UCs, develop a strategic multi-phase campaign plan with a plausible path to victory, and build the campus and intercampus muscle to implement that plan as soon as possible.
