International Day of Peace and Climate Justice Action Forest Grove
Start: Friday, September 20, 2019•11:30 AM
The
climate crisis is all around us: intensifying storms, hurricanes,
heatwaves and wildfires, slow-burning disasters like drought and famine,
and so much more. And the costs are paid for in the lives and
livelihoods of those least responsible for causing the problem.
September 20, 2019, the two year anniversary of Hurricane Maria,
kicks-off a week of action like never before with people everywhere
coming together to demand trans-formative action at a scale consistent
with the climate crisis.
